One-of-a-kind pieces that stand out in the crowd
We believe that how and wear things are made matters, so all of our jackets are either upcycled or handmade and all of our designs are created by hand in house.
This bomber jacket is made of upcycled denim pieces as well as the occasional vintage fabric. This jacket is lined with a stretch cotton sateen with a black/white brushstrokes design. It is a size 16/18 and has two side load pockets, elastic at the cuffs, and a zipper closure with a sparrow zipper pull. Size 16/18 has a 40" bust, a 42" high hip, a sleeve length of 25.25", and a bodice length of 24".

Aurifil Artisan 2026: Opening the Box
When I found out I had been selected as a 2026 Aurifil Artisan, I was equal parts excited and honored. Aurifil has assembled an incredibly talented community of makers, quilters, artists, and sewists, and being welcomed into that group felt validating in a way that’s hard to put into words. Much of what I do has been learned through experimentation, trial and error, and a willingness to ask, “What happens if I try this?” Being invited to join this year’s Artisan team felt like encouragement to keep asking those questions.
